RBC at Ogden Community School
CAHEP in partnership with Ogden Community School
Chosen as one of only five new After School Programs province-wide, this unique After School Program offered 17 completely different projects in arts and heritage for 40 learners in grades 3 to 6 at Ogden Community School. The program also offered a healthy snack, music appreciation, health and wellness presentations, academic help with homework through the Achieve Program and included a Sharing Day for the wider community after each of the artists or heritage programmers worked with the students. The program began on October 2, 2006 and ran every day after school from 2:40 to 5:00 p.m. until June 1, 2007.
The learners' visual art work from 8 of the projects will be displayed out in the community at various locations.
We have been inspired and excited by the fabulous creative ideas that the learners brought to this new After School Program.
