How To Book An Artist
All artists must be contacted directly. All the artists listed in this section deliver educational programming. Fees will be negotiated with the artist. Programming, number of sessions and schedules will be finalized between the artist and educator. (Except for "Artists in the 5th" programming. Please see current projects)
Most of the individual artists listed in the Thunder Bay Arts & Heritage Directory have delivered programming in the schools. They have attended a workshop that dealt specifically with information/ the mandate of CAHEP. An overview of expectations of teachers, schools and principals in delivering programming were also discussed. Most will have up to date Criminal Background Checks, or they will be in the process of attaining them, as well as a current T.B. Tests.
We strongly recommend each teacher make direct contact with specific artists, heritage programmers and organizations.
