Our association works towards promoting modern square and round dancing in the city. We have an open house on the second Monday in September and invite people to come see what square dancing is all about. This open house is held at the West Arthur Community Center at 8 pm. The lessons start the following Monday at 7 pm at West Arthur C.C. We also sponsor a Square & Round Dance Festival, July 7, 8, 9, 2011 starting at 8 pm each evening at the West Thunder Community Center. Spectators are welcome. Admission is free. Square dancing has been heralded by cardiologists as being a very healthy exercise for both mind and body. It is also a great way to meet people. Our motto is Friendship Set to Music.
